Verifier Position Available in Pooler, GA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $16.50/hr
Location: Pooler, GA

We are seeking a diligent Shipping and Receiving Verifier to join our team in Pooler, GA. The Verifier plays a crucial role in inspecting and verifying cargo during receiving and shipping operations. This position ensures that all cargo counts are accurate, conditions are documented, and transport equipment is verified and approved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately count and record information for inbound and outbound cargo.
  • Operate RF scanning through the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Fulfill various warehouse duties, including housekeeping, verification, and inventory tasks.
  • Maintain safe practices and knowledge of surroundings while in the warehouse.
  • Record and manage all inventory transactions using handheld RF devices.
  • Inspect equipment and document any issues or damages accurately.
  • Safely transfer and inspect customers' and company's property within the warehouse.
  • Meet production and safety goals while complying with all company rules and procedures.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Proficient in using an RF-based WMS; experience with Camelot preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of related equipment experience with clamp attachments in Warehousing & Distribution.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Regularly required to talk or hear, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
  • Must occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds and request assistance if needed.
  • Close vision and the ability to adjust focus required.
  • The work environment can be noisy with temperature fluctuations.
  • Must be willing to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and overtime as needed.
