Interchange/Warehouse Clerk Openings
2 positions: 
530am-3pm Monday-Friday with some weekends
730am-5pm Monday-Friday with some weekends
Starting pay $19/hr




Position Summary:
The Interchange Clerk is responsible for supporting efficient warehouse operations by managing documentation, organizing orders, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining inventory records. This position plays a critical role in the scheduling, tracking, and movement of containers and related paperwork. Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Navigation & Documentation:
    • Utilize the High Jump system to manage booking and receiving screens for orders, tickets, and warehouse documentation.
    • Print and prepare packets (Shipping Orders, Seabulk Orders, Title Transfers, Reclasses, Work Orders) for the warehouse team to process outbound and inbound loads.
    • Scan and store documents electronically using Paperwise for streamlined recordkeeping.
  • Communication:
    • Respond to internal and external emails regarding customer orders, container scheduling, appointments, and coordination with Customer Service, Drayage, and Dispatch.
  • Scheduling & Reporting:
    • Review and schedule domestic orders, confirming order status and availability.
    • Communicate pickup dates and times to customers and carriers according to specific instructions and email processes.
    • Generate, format, and distribute Booking Management reports as needed.
    • Update scheduling and order status fields accurately in High Jump.
  • Yard & Gate Operations:
    • Conduct regular physical yard checks, recording container numbers and updating the Excel Yard Sheet.
    • Check in and out drivers for live loads, export, import, and warehouse-shipped containers, updating all records and logs.
    • Participate in load auditing and manage rejected container processes.
  • Additional Support:
    • Assist with other clerical and operational tasks as required by the operations or dispatch teams.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 
  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or related field is a plus.
  • Proficient with warehouse management systems (preferably High Jump) and electronic documentation tools (Paperwise or similar).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email etiquette required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Steel toe boots are requied
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk and conduct yard checks outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry office documents and small supply items as needed.
