Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator
Location: Añasco, Puerto Rico
Description:
Responsible for coordinating all personnel activities related to scanning, shipping, receiving, and dispatch. Supervises and ensures that all warehouse plans, functions, and activities are carried out (receiving, handling, storage, dispatch, and shipment of materials or products). Complies with environmental policy and procedures and supports departmental environmental objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the daily activities of the scanning staff and ensures compliance with warehouse plans and functions.
- Executes the process of shipping finished products to distribution centers, ensuring correct quantities and product types.
- Coordinates daily shipments of finished products and raw materials, following established procedures.
- Verifies and maintains inventory levels for both raw materials and non-inventory items, using both physical and computerized systems.
- Maintains adequate daily inventory control and assists with the weekly cycle counting program.
- Provides support to the production planning department to meet service level standards.
- Verifies and files documents related to the various areas of the warehouse, according to established processes.
- Monitors the performance and efficiency of warehouse specialists, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Is responsible for keeping warehouse areas organized and clean.
- Associate's degree or equivalent in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse functions.
- 1 year of experience as a group leader preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience handling hazardous materials.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics.
- Computer skills and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English and Spanish.
- Forklift, pallet jack, or heavy vehicle driver's license preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), cycle counting, FDA, and OSHA.
