Job Title: Job Title: Warehouse Janitor (Temp)
Location: Stafford, VA 22554
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Pay: $21 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary Job Summary Seeking a candidate for a temporary warehouse janitor role. The primary focus is on maintaining facility cleanliness, but forklift experience and the ability to obtain certification are required. This is not an exclusive forklift position. Primary Duties

  • Clean warehouse using various equipment and cleaning products
  • Remove refuse from offices and building daily
  • Repair damaged pallets
  • Remove ice and snow from walkways and parking lots
  • Wash and sweep inside of trailers
  • Clean break room and work areas
  • Maintain exterior property, keeping it orderly
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Key Relationships
  • Peers: Coordinate to complete sanitation duties safely
  • Group Coordinator/Lead: Receive work assignments
  • Management: Follow direction related to company policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain forklift operator certificate or complete forklift training within the first 30 days
  • 0–6 months of general warehouse experience
  • Ability to safely operate powered equipment
  • Basic understanding of general warehousing
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Able to work assigned shifts
  • Can follow procedures and safety rules
  • Able to read, understand, and follow instructions
  • (Desirable) High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions
  • Rarely (0–2%): Pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, climbing, kneeling
  • Occasionally (3–33%): Sitting
  • Constantly (67–100%): Walking, standing, use of vision, operating forklifts/powered equipment
  • Work Environment: 70% inside, 30% outside
  • Other Conditions: Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot warehouses, freezers, and outdoor weather)
