Verifier Position Available in Pooler, GA
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift
We are looking for a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Verifier to join our team in Pooler, GA. The role focuses on verifying and inspecting cargo during receiving and shipping. This includes checking the proper count and condition of cargo, as well as ensuring that transport equipment is correctly documented and approved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Count and document inventory transactions using handheld RF devices
- Record start and stop times on work orders to support production goals
- Sign in and out equipment and perform inspections for any issues or damage
- Accurately account for items loaded or unloaded
- Ensure the safe transfer of property within the warehouse
- Comply with all company rules, policies, and safety regulations
- Support miscellaneous warehouse tasks including housekeeping, other verification, and inventory responsibilities
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Proficient in using RF-based Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with Camelot preferred
- One or more years of experience with related equipment in a warehousing and distribution environment
- High school diploma or GED
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Regular talking and hearing; frequent standing, walking, sitting, and handling objects
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Noise level can be loud, with large seasonal temperature fluctuations
- Must be flexible with shifts, willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
