Salary/Payrate: $36-40/hr. 
Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm EST
Location:  1 River Road, Schenectady, NY 12302 – ONSITE
Position:  Wind Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
This position will be for a highly organized and results-driven Wind Operations Specialist to support the efficient and effective daily operations of our wind energy assets. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving key performance indicators (KPIs), managing operational workflows, and aligning actions to meet both current operational targets and long-term strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical acumen, operational awareness, and continuous improvement mindset to ensure asset performance, compliance, and productivity are optimized.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Monitor and manage daily operational KPIs across active wind projects to ensure alignment with performance targets and contractual obligations.
•    Coordinate daily workflows and tasks across Projects organization, ensuring timely resolution of issues and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
•    Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, root causes of underperformance, and opportunities for efficiency gains.
•    Maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in execution and clarity in responsibilities.
•    Drive cross-functional collaboration with leadership, sourcing, logistics, manufacturing, and digital partners to address real-time operational needs and implement corrective actions.
•    Support the development of strategic action plans that align with asset lifecycle goals, performance targets, and industry best practices.
•    Prepare and present performance reports to internal stakeholders, highlighting KPI progress, operational challenges, and improvement plans.
•    Assist with forecasting and capacity planning to meet evolving business needs and technology advancements in wind operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
•    Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Project Management, or Business Management)
•    4+ years of experience working in Logistics/Supply Chain/Project Management or related field
•    Able to connect and communicate across all levels of internal colleagues/stakeholders.
•    Advanced Proficiency in all MS Office programs; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
•    Fluent and proficient in both spoken and written English

Desired Characteristics:
•    2+ years of experience Renewable Energy Projects/Operations/Support
•    Capability to learn new software quickly and integrate knowledge into solutions
•    Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle high pressure, time sensitive issues
•    Exceptional planning, organizing and follow-up skills
•    Experience managing multiple deadlines and daily tasks effectively to meet deliverables
•    Experience working in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
•    Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, both proactive and reactive
•    A self-starter with the passion for improvement and desire to learn"
