Workforce Analyst, Sr.
Location: Onsite – Columbus, OH
Pay Rate: Up to $50/hour

Purpose of the Position:
The Workforce Management Analyst, Sr. plays a key role in ensuring the organization has the right staffing levels to meet demand. This position acts as a liaison between multiple business units, provides analytical insights, delivers training and guidance on workforce planning practices, and monitors performance metrics to identify risks and variances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staffing files, headcount tracking, and workforce meetings across multiple departments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all workforce-related inquiries.
- Monitor attrition, capacity, and other staffing KPIs; provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Lead and execute workforce management analytics projects and scale best practices across teams.
- Train managers and leaders on workforce management methodologies and risk identification.
- Forecast and plan staffing needs up to two years in advance, aligning with business strategy.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure staffing plans support long-term goals.
- Maintain and manage complex data structures and workforce planning models with minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in Workforce Management.
- 5+ years of advanced Excel experience (large data sets, formulas, linked workbooks).
- 3+ years in Headcount & Capacity Planning.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Background in Financial Forecasting, Attrition Planning, and Succession Planning.
- Proven experience leading staffing meetings and collaborating with complex organizational structures.
Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced Excel skills (arrays, index match, pivot tables, data visualizations).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Skilled in data visualization and reporting for executive audiences.
- Deep understanding of workforce management metrics and calculations.
- Confident presentation and communication skills; able to lead discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Expertise in risk identification and scenario planning.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
