POSITION SUMMARY

The  Pricing Analyst will be responsible for daily price verification, price administration & maintenance. This role reports to the Pricing Manager and is based out of our Cherry Hill, NJ location. 

 Must be able to commute to office on average once a month.


Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of customer price lists and the daily order price comparison between our price and customer prices submitted on the purchases order.
  • Communication to our Sales Team, Brokers and Customers to resolve price differences. 
  • Maintenance of all customer freight lists for delivered pricing or freight allowances.
  • Work with logistics department to periodically review freight tables and practices 
  • Provide adhoc analysis as assigned to support budget, forecast & bid functions.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or related business field
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the food/beverage industry 
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task
  • Ability to work & adapt to multiple system platforms
  • Must have excellent time management skills 
  • Ability to work independently, quickly and maintain accuracy
  • Analytical skills required to identify issues and problem solve

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.

 

FREQUENT:  sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.

 

OCCASIONAL:  squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 20 – 35 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.
