Job Summary

We are looking for an HR Coordinator who's ready to be the heartbeat of our employee experience — from the moment a candidate accepts an offer to the day they become a seasoned team member. In this role, you'll juggle recruiting coordination, onboarding, compliance tracking, and employee engagement, all while supporting a mission that matters. What you'll do:
  • Support full-cycle recruiting coordination, including scheduling interviews, posting requisitions, and maintaining candidate communication.
  • Process new hire onboarding, including background checks, I-9 verification, and orientation logistics.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring data integrity across systems.
  • Plan and deliver new hire orientation training, covering company policies, benefits, and key systems, while ensuring a welcoming and informative onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Support compensation and payroll processes by verifying employee data changes, status updates, and transaction accuracy.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and internal communications.
  • Track and support compliance requirements, including required trainings, certifications, and export control/security clearance documentation as applicable.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and presentations for leadership review.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee questions, escalating complex issues to the appropriate HR Generalist.
  • Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and separation documentation.
  • Assist with special projects related to talent management, workforce planning, and HR process improvement.
What you bring:
  • Associate's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2 years of HR, recruiting coordination, or administrative experience, ideally in a manufacturing, engineering, or defense environment.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-service mindset.
  • Comfort presenting to and facilitating groups (e.g., new hire orientation sessions).
  • High attention to detail and comfort working with sensitive employee data.

The salary range for this position is $24.94/hour-$32.42.  This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
