We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will support the development, maintenance, and improvement of data pipelines and infrastructure that power our AI department. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building, maintaining, and improving ETL/ELT pipelines for data processing.
• Work with modern data tools and platforms, including Databricks (Spark, SQL), Apache Airflow, and Azure services.
• Support troubleshooting of data pipelines, queries, and scheduled jobs to improve reliability and performance.
• Help implement and follow best practices for data governance, security, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with senior team members to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.
• Stay current with data engineering tools, technologies, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, software engineering, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline development.
• Exposure to Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar big data tools is a plus.
• Exposure to workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, is a plus.
• Understanding of data modelling fundamentals and basic performance optimization concepts.
• Willingness to learn tools such as CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
• A curious, proactive, team-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and an interest in working with data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, academic project, or hands-on experience in data engineering or data-related projects.
• Experience working with large datasets in academic, personal, or professional settings.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
