Job Summary

Support and participate in technical activity. Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems.

Job Responsibilities
  • Apply basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation in support of manufacturing operations 
  • May prepare plans, conduct support studies, provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations
  • Responsibilities are limited in scope
  • Follow standard practices/procedures in analyzing situations or data 
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Involved in the development of manufacturing process plans, test requirements, and manufacturing flow, and capacity plans.  Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility.
  • Involved with the design, fabrication, and modification of mechanical and / or electromechanical components, subsystems, and systems. May include Mechanical Analysis, Aerodynamics / Fluids, Thermal, Fluid Systems, Mechanical Packaging, or others.
  • Evaluate and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or services.
  • Investigate solutions to product or process problems.

 

Job Responsibilities Part II
  • Attend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field and 0+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
  • Specialties may include manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, and robotics
  • Novice technical expertise and application domain knowledg
