Job SummaryPricing Internship: Learn and Support Financial Pricing Activities
Seeking a practical introduction to financial pricing and administrative finance? Join our team as a Pricing Intern to support pricing, budgeting, and financial controls. This internship offers exposure to finance functions used in corporate planning and government-regulated contracting environments.
What You Will Do- Assist Senior Finance Staff: Support senior-level staff with price analysis tasks.
- Analyze customer solicitation requirements, focusing on pricing instructions, pricing strategies, fee structure, pricing format, calculations for total evaluated price.
- Utilize pricing models to develop proposal pricing.
- Document Control: Maintain appropriate records and documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Resolve Routine Issues: Identify and resolve routine financial problems and suggest measures to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Support compliance with internal policies, DAR, FAR, and other applicable government regulations.
- Conduct Internal Audit Tasks: Assist in performing internal audits to validate processes and controls.
- Improve Department Processes: Participate in team initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Must be actively enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate or master's program in Finance or related field.
- At least two years of academic experience with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 with emphasis on MS Excel
- Ability to work 20 hours per week (2 days on-site, Tues./Wed.)
