Job SummaryThe Senior Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for performing electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework.
Job Responsibilities- Interpret and work from wiring/assembly drawings, operation sheets, specifications, sketches, and work instructions.
- Build, repair, and modify electromechanical assemblies using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, crimpers, torque wrenches, fixtures, etc.).
- Perform testing, rework, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
- Operate machine shop equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, drill press, band saw, etc.).
- Ensure product quality, compliance with safety/regulatory requirements, and meet production deadlines.
- Monitor raw material levels and support efficient workflow across departments. Manage multiple tasks, adjust priorities as needed, and support organizational mission and values.
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends.
- Strong decision-making skills with good hand–eye coordination.
- Experienced in safe chemical handling; prepare/apply RTV, potting, paints, and cements.
- Proficient with computer applications; MRP experience a plus.
- Soldering, winding machine, brazing, and spot welding experience preferred.
- Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform manufacturing tasks (walking, sitting, standing, kneeling)
- High School Diploma and 5 years of applicable experience
U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
