Job Summary

The HR Compensation Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and system support for the HR Compensation Team. Assigned with updating and maintaining Job Description Library for Lexington Medical Center. Position has responsibility in entering data into Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and other systems as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years of Experience Providing Administrative and System Support or Related Experience 
Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): 2 Years of Experience can be substituted for Associate's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or Related Degree  
Required Certifications/Licensure: None
Required Training: Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel 

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for adding and updating Job Descriptions as necessary in all relevant systems. 
  • Enters data in HRIS or other systems. Data entry could include, but is not limited to, updating changes related to job codes, position data, or employee pay. Scans specified documents into appropriate systems.
  • Provides support in Performance Administration. Under guidelines of HR Compensation Leadership, may be involved in providing system support related to Performance Evaluations for Lexington Medical Center. 
  • Provides administrative support to HR Compensation Team, especially in the support of processing changes related to approved business cases, HR Compensation communication strategy, and reviewing of submitted bonus paperwork. 
  • Helps prepare documents for HR Compensation Team and Human Resources.  
  • Supports and follows business processes related to HR Compensation.
  • Assist with audits to ensure accuracy and compliance, and ensure data integrity in Information Systems. 
  • Processes and maintains confidential files and information. Runs reports in various systems as needed. Monitors and audits reports and reports concerns to HR Compensation Leadership. 
     
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Works collaboratively with other members of the Human Resources team to ensure adherence to service and customer expectations.
  • Performs day-to-day department Human Resources team activities such as answering calls, scheduling, and filing.
  • Update HR Compensation Leadership and Team on progress, gaps and potential opportunities for operational improvement. 
  • Maintains working knowledge of terminology relevant to department.
  • Adheres to Lexington Medical Center Service expectations. 
  • All other duties as assigned.
