About the Clinic Nurse Role and Ambulatory Neurology This is a full time 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday 8am-430PM. Working in the department of Neurology, the Clinic Nurse in the ambulatory Neurology Clinic collaborates with multiple providers to deliver care to patients with neurologic conditions. A key role in the clinic, a combination of patient facing care and triage nursing. The Clinic nurse is responsible for assuring competent, compassionate, individualized, nursing care to patients. The Clinical Nurse collaborates with the team to achieve efficient patient outcomes. The nurse will ensure that care is safe, efficient, effective, timely and meets the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of each patient and family. Busy ambulatory practice setting with clinic primarily out of Boston location. There may be an opportunity to work from home twice per week following successful completion of the orientation. Skills and Experience for a Clinic Nurse - This role requires strong triage skills and comfort with utilization of electronic medical records. - 2-4 years of nursing experience preferred. - Neurology experience preferred Education/Degree for a Clinic Nurse - BSN strongly preferred. Licensure, Certifications, or Registration for a Clinic Nurse - MA RN license required.
