Title and Summary

Chief of Staff Overview
The Chief of Staff will support the CNPF Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and his leadership team to ensure efficient operations, drive strategic alignment and enable decision making.
The Corporate & New Payment Flows business focuses on data and payment flows beyond consumer card payments, including commercial cards, B2B payments, remittances, and healthcare solutions, with the goal of expanding into new areas and opportunities. The CNPF Engineering team works alongside the Product, Sales, Business Operations, and Control functions to develop best in class software solutions to drive CNPF growth

Role
• Support the execution of CNPF strategic priorities by collaborating closely with business leads across Mastercard organization (e.g. CNPF, Services, Core Payments, Regional teams, Finance, P&C, Communications, Marketing, TECH, Legal)
• Serve a key Risk & Control liaison to Technology, Product/business risk management functions
• Develop executive presentations and messaging for internal audiences (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews, Governance meetings, business updates, Teams Channel, Monthly Newsletter); facilitate transparent and effective communication across the organization
• Shape external-facing narratives with strong analytic support and product knowledge
• Manage and coordinate regular engagements on CNPF priorities between the major Mastercard product areas and technical horizontals
• Drive business reporting ensuring operational excellence; identify insights and make meaningful recommendations as needed
• Lead execution of employee communication and engagement initiatives (e.g. Monthly All Hands meetings, Weekly Directs meetings, Leadership offsites, Community engagement, etc.); partner with P&C team to support Diversity and inclusion initiatives
• Tackle complex business problems with limited definition and uncover root causes, develop solutions, and translate into specific recommendations for action
• Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely execution of key objectives
• Serve as delegate and represent the CNPF CTO as needed for governance related matters

All About You
The successful candidate will possess the following experience:
• proven experience in executive/leadership communications and business reporting, translating strategies to execution plans
• Excellent writing skills, ability to “storyboard” and develop visually compelling presentations with clear logic and structure
• Highly organized and detailed oriented; proficient in managing competing priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Intellectually curious with entrepreneurial attitude and a results-driven mindset
• Ability to influence with authority - anticipate and proactively address issues that may arise
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to build relationships and interact effectively with individuals at all levels
• Experience in financial services and digital payments with an understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends is a plus
• Experience with cross border payments, SME and Corporates client segments, and Embedded Finance is a strong plus

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Purchase, New York: $192,000 - $307,000 USD New York City, New York: $200,000 - $320,000 USD
