Title and Summary

Director, Agentic Payments Role Overview

We are seeking an Agentic AI Product Lead to design, build, and scale next generation AI agents that automate workflows. This leader will participate to the end-to-end strategy for agentic AI systems and plan, reason, take autonomous actions, and orchestrate complex business processes across internal and customer facing environments.

This role sits at the intersection of AI architecture, product strategy, workflow automation, and business transformation. The ideal candidate combines deep technical understanding with strong product thinking and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders across regions and business units.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Vision
• Define the enterprise roadmap for agentic AI capabilities, including planning, reasoning, tool use, and workflow orchestration.
• Identify high impact automation opportunities across functions (e.g., operations, sales, customer support, risk).
• Drive adoption and long-term scaling of agentic systems across markets.

2. Product Leadership
• Translate business problems into agentic workflows, multi agent systems, or autonomous task frameworks.
• Define product requirements, KPIs, and success metrics for AI agents in production.
• Ensure strong governance, reliability, and safety for autonomous AI actions.

3. Technical Architecture & Delivery
• Architect end to end agentic ecosystems integrating:
o LLMs (foundation + fine-tuned models)
o Tooling APIs / function calling
o Workflow engines, and decisioning systems
o Partner with engineering teams to deliver high quality, scalable AI products.
• Lead experiments, POCs, and iterative improvements based on real world usage.

4. Risk, Compliance & Responsible AI
• Implement guardrails with cross-functional teals to ensure secure, safe, compliant autonomous actions.
• Design human in the loop oversight where required.
• Lead alignment with AI governance policies and regulatory requirements across APAC and global markets.

5. Cross Functional Leadership
• Partner with business owners to map processes into agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with services, engineering, product, operations, legal, and risk teams.
• Drive change management and adoption of AI driven automation.

Qualifications required
• 2~5 years of experience in product management, AI/ML, automation, or large-scale digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of LLM architectures, agentic systems, reasoning frameworks, and orchestration tools.
• Proven ability to design, deploy, and scale AI or automation products in enterprise environments.
• Experience working with APIs, workflow engines.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication.

Preferred
• Background in payments, financial services, or regulated industries.
• Experience scaling AI adoption across multiple geographies.

What success looks like in the first 12–18 months, the Agentic AI Product Lead will:
• Deliver 2–4 production grade AI agents.
• Reduce manual workload for key business processes.
• Establish a scalable agentic AI foundation.
