What we look for: Director Central European Fintech Platforms
Your role in 30 seconds:
The Director Fintech Expansion is responsible for the Business development of a portfolio with Fintech partners in our German speaking markets. The role strongly focused on solution design, digital development, business case design as well as customer negotiations and implementations. Furthermore, the development of customer relationships, the regional business development strategy as well as the long-term customer development are key elements of the role.
The position requires strong communication skills, business acumen, relevant market insights as well as strong subject matter expertise in digital payments-related products in order to help deliver digital products and solutions suiting the local market needs.
Besides being a self-starter that easily connects with our partners you need to have a technological mindset and the willingness to go the extra mile with our clients to create compelling payment solutions.

Director Fintech Expansion
• Grow and progress with our clients: Manage the P&L of your customer portfolio, define strategies with and for your platform partners, set goals and execute on it in close collaboration with the Central European Fintech team .
• Build trusted relationships with our Fintech & Digital clients! Structured customer account management and execution. Management of customers as well as internal stakeholders to successfully design, build and implement customer solutions
• Develop and implement a Pan-European go-to-market plan, including product positioning, development of key benefits, and target customer for the local digital solutions
• Drive solution design, sales and product delivery in a highly competitive, fast changing environment
• Build compelling solutions! Be responsible for the design, launch and management of our overall integration approach and work with the customer and technical solution architects as well as product managers on the product roadmap to fit the market needs.
• Proactively manage new partnership idea pipeline that anticipates and/or responds new technological trends as well as eco system stakeholder needs and competitive threats
• Create business cases, implementation, end to end operational and support processes, and product roadmaps for concepts under development
• Close & Scale! Ensure growth and tactical targets are reached
• Continuous development and execution of strategic framework for the Central European Fintech Platform business
• Background in technology / e-/m-Commerce
• Temporary Contract (Maternity cover 1 year)
• Location: Munich / Berlin / Frankfurt

Things we expect from you:

• Experience in fast paced, technology centric environment including Payments, e-commerce, Retail, Financial Services and/or Consulting
• Curiosity, can-do attitude, agility, creativity and a real team player
• Results-oriented and customer-focused self-starter: Track record in achieving business development targets and building customer relationships through customer sales
• Proven ability to develop sustainable business relationships in diverse environments and track record of successful sales
• Strong communication skills and ability to act in matrix environment
• Ability to understand and execute on key operational aspects, and attentive to details
• Business acumen with the ability to create solutions that meet real customer needs
• Experience in leading & developing a team to achieve high performance
• Track record of relationship management and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinking and outstanding communication skills on all levels
• Fluent English and German, more languages are better
• A strong team player with great interpersonal and cross-cultural skills
• Fluency in German and English - written and spoken
• And yes, a MBA or bachelor
• You will be based in Munich or Frankfurt and will need to travel
