Title and Summary

Director, Global B2B Marketing - SME Business Mastercard has quickly become a leading technology company offering services that power the world of payments and beyond. As a part of Mastercard's Integrated Marketing and Communication organization, the Global Marketing team for Commercial & New Payment Flows is accountable for end-to-end B2B & product marketing.
This includes: leveraging insights and market knowledge to help define value propositions and messaging; crafting succinct and successful sales enablement and commercial toolkits; executing awareness and lead generation campaigns; driving the development of thought leadership and content marketing that is activated and amplified across multiple channels; and partnering with global and regional colleagues in Product, Marketing, Communications, Legal and Sales as well as external agencies to scale marketing plans and assets.

We are looking for a strategic and curious marketer to join an energetic team and deliver marketing initiatives to enable the SME business to achieve ambitious commercial goals.

Role
• Lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy for Core and Lower Mid-Market solutions.
• Partner with the business in ensuring strong CVP articulation, sales enablement assets by framing the sales narrative effectively
• Manage the RFP content and management
• Drive Thought leadership efforts by crafting high impact content creation and execution
• Development, and execution of lead gen campaign to fuel the pipeline and evaluate content and campaign effectiveness against campaign goals.
• Determine GTM approach and strategy with Global and regional stakeholders
• Support the business in the overall SME PLS strategy working closely with stakeholders to ensure all hero products & solutions are integrated, strong call to action to the regions and manage the overall SME website
• Play a part in evolving how we leverage marketing capabilities to bring products to market more effectively, through trainings and internal and external engagement.
• Support regional and country teams in product launch and marketing activities
• Determine the right tactics for each marketing challenge, including content marketing, sales enablement materials, branding guides, infographics, case studies, digital marketing, etc.
• Ensure close alignment and working relationship with Global Communications
• Play a central role with the Regional B2B & Product Marketing leads by supporting their efforts to drive scale in market while driving consistency of positioning and messaging, balanced with local relevance.
• Capture learnings and success stories to inform the development of global best practices

• Brilliant interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including proven ability to create simple, compelling customer-facing narratives from complex, technical information
• Experience working in multiple areas of the Marketing function (Consumer Marketing, Product Marketing, B2B Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, etc.)
• Sensitivity for multi-cultural, diverse background and structure of the target audience and partners
• Proven ability to build collaborative working relationships with stakeholders at the global/regional or local level and a strong team player
• Ability to manage multiple projects, manage creative resources
• Strategic mindset with ability to make quick decisions in challenging, ambiguous situations
• Motivated self-driver, able to manage complex/multi-geography projects with a discipline for priority-setting and follow-through.
• Demonstrated curiosity, agility and rapid learning on new competitors, technologies, and products
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or MBA

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
