Mastercard Foundry builds next-generation offerings that accelerate the future of commerce. We believe that the future of our business depends on our ability to define and differentiate new innovation that drive value for our customers. Through our innovation portfolios, we partner with the product teams to partner / create, incubate and scale new products and services. The Director, New Product Development role is a key member of the Services team portfolio, focused on building new breakthrough, innovative solutions at scale.

Role:
• Support the identification and development (build, buy, partner) of new opportunities for the services portfolio in new white spaces for continued growth for MA.
• Develop strategic and financial opportunity assessments and recommendations for senior leadership, providing customer, technical, competitive, and commercial depth.
• Collaborate across a team(s) of product managers, designers, engineers, and other cross functional disciplines to build new opportunities.
• Build compelling business cases that quantify value, justify investments, and articulate a clear path to market success.
• Support product strategy, roadmaps, and execution across the organization, while also influencing the mindset of executives on our innovation agenda
• Drive the end-to-end product development process from concept to commercialization, with a focus on desirability, feasibility, and viability, using a disciplined, agile gating process.
• Effectively engage key stakeholders on new product initiatives, effectively communicating vision, progress, recommendations to stakeholders.

• Strong Communicator: excellent written and verbal communications, ability to engage and influence at all levels, make the complex simple, interface with senior leadership, bridging technical and business domains, effective at stakeholder management at the senior levels.

• Strategic Thinker: you think about the big picture, connecting the dots at the macro level to the micro.

• Business Case/Commercial Depth: adept at building business cases and providing a compelling narrative on what the numbers convey to help facilitate decision making

• Design thinker: passionate about customer centricity, and deploying user-centric, agile approaches to realizing customer value

• Collaborative team player: you have a proven track record in collaborating across a large organization – with CX, Engineering, Regions, Product Teams - adept in facilitating challenging conversations and managing ambiguity

• Natural problem solver: you are analytical, curious with a “can-do” attitude

• Deep experience in product development, product management, consulting preferred

• Experience working in Payments, Strategy, Management Consulting, Big Tech, FinTech, Data & Analytics

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
