Title and Summary

Director of Leadership & Executive Development Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Executive development to help accelerate the impact of our most senior leaders to drive the Mastercard strategy & vision forward. In this role, you will deliver on our Executive Development Mastercard Framework anchored on supporting executive leaders with each phase of their development journey which includes: gaining critical acumen on our strategy, understanding how to navigate our operating model and building relationships, role modeling our culture with key behaviors from the Mastercard Way and becoming catalysts for innovation.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem solver while remaining agile in the face of change. In addition, they will have strong influence and emotional intelligence to work across the People & Capabilities (P&C) organization and key Business Unit Senior Leaders to understand their needs, partner on solutions, and track and measure impact.

The Director of Executive Development will report to the Head of Leadership Development and work in a matrixed environment with key P&C stakeholders.



Role:
Develop and implement a multi-year strategy and roadmap for executive development supported by stakeholders
Design and lead sustainable and well managed programs and processes by balancing simplicity and scalability within a matrixed P&C environment
Balance between high-tech and high-touch to create personalized. priceless development experiences
Strong stakeholder management and executive communications to tie program experience together for each and every executive
Leverage Mastercard Leader profile and industry practices on what makes an effective leader to continue to infuse ideas in “Leader Working Group”
Use data driven insights using data to understand mindset of executives and create learnings accordingly
Create and implement a clear and viable assessment model to measure results and return on investment in the short term and long term for executive programs
Empower leaders to teach leaders by coaching and mentoring key influential leaders on scaling their own people leader practices
Influence through development experiences on how leaders show up with authenticity, vulnerability and resilience
Implement learning best practices and innovative, creating learning strategies
Prioritize learning efforts and effectively allocate resources


All About You:
Strong understanding of instructional design or learning experience design
Strong understanding of executive development and experience with executive coaching
Ability to translate how executives play a role in strategy, operating model and culture

Pay Ranges

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
