Overview

The Director, Open Banking Sales Enablement is responsible for providing strategic, logistical, and tactical support to a national Sales and Client Success organization. The successful candidate will establish cross departmental relationships making certain that Sales has access to the most accurate, updated and relevant product, marketing, operations, and process information needed to facilitate the successful close of new deals. This position will require a holistic perspective to ensure Open Banking products and services are positioned accurately and favorably. You will be responsible for working cross-functionally to help scale the Open Banking NAM Strategy with our target accounts and socialize the value proposition across the enterprise.

Your primary objective will be to cultivate strong working relationships with internal partners across Open Banking Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Data Access, Operations and internal customer account teams. You will work closely with these internal Mastercard teams to ensure robust communication between our client facing teams and these groups and smooth interfaces at multiple levels. Working closely with the SVP of Open Banking Sales and Client Success you will unearth opportunities to optimize the sales process to drive revenue more efficiently.

Role

• Participate in internal business planning activities to include evaluating new partnership opportunities, assigning leads, pipeline reviews, weekly and monthly reporting, and annual operating planning.
• Support Internal planning process with key stakeholders.
• Assess, recommend, and lead implementation of sales optimization opportunities.
•Develop Sales Narratives and materials to support broader Sales Teams on Open Banking Initiatives.
•Interface with internal and external partners that provide sales enablement tools.
• Manage RFP responses in coordination with the RFP Factory, Sales, and all other stakeholders.
• Interface with Total Rewards on execution of the MSSP program, including quarterly assessment of success.
• Build strong internal relationships and communication channels within Mastercard to ensure a collaborative, unified and responsive interface to partner relationships.
• Be a visible, active leader within the broader business – making a lasting impact on our culture, strategic direction, talent, work processes, and financial results.

• Multi-tasking and communication skills to develop, organize, facilitate, coordinate and execute actions across the organization.
• Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision, and establish a solid working relationship with senior management, Sales staff, and peers.
•Analytically driven and ability to create deal constructs to secure new business.
• Proven track record of successful Sales Optimization with demonstrated results.
• Experience with Salesforce and RFP processes and systems.
• Strong analytical experience with advanced excel is an asset

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
