The Consumer Acquisition & Engagement (CA&E) team provides a wide range of acquisition, loyalty, personalization and marketing services assets including the design, implementation and operations of cardholder loyalty programs. These solutions enable issuers to reward, protect and assist cardholders driving overall card usage, retention and brand preference. We are seeking a Director of Product & Commercialization (Canada) to drive product development, go-to-market strategies and the commercialization of key CA&E products, platforms and services in Canada, including Marketing Services, Loyalty & Engagement, and Personalization.

This role acts as a vital conduit between Product, Services Business Leads, Account Managers and customers, providing strategic narratives, product knowledge, and developing marketing and communications strategies in partnership with other teams that drive customer value, Mastercard's revenue growth and, to drive internal and external awareness of CA&E solutions.



The ideal candidate is business savvy, a storyteller, passionate about product marketing and communications, proactive in reaching out to internal stakeholders, resourceful at problem solving, an expert in delivering presentations and creating impactful narratives and content, effective in managing key decision makers and engaging Sales teams. They are highly self-motivated, can operate in a fast-paced environment, and possess an agile mindset, comfortable with creating new processes and forging a path to an evolved Canada CA&E successful future state.



Key Responsibilities

Product Development: Lead the development of products in the market including communication of product vision, roadmap, launch materials, value prop, and pricing strategies

Drive Growth: Support the expansion of the CA&E business across Canada by aligning sales strategies with customer and market needs

Customer interaction: key lead in the delivery of CA&E solutions, interfacing with external customer audiences, providing CA&E thought leadership and presenting innovative solutions to solve complex customer challenges

Sales Plays: Partner with Sales to gather customer needs and insights, and translate them into sales enablement deliverables, including customized product messaging for diverse customer segments

Enablement Materials: Collaborate with Marketing and NAM Commercialization team to produce compelling sales tools, resources and content

Presentations: Create and deliver engaging presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Internal Awareness: Partner with internal Business Development teams to promote CA&E value proposition and innovation through sales enablement sessions

Market Intelligence: Analyze and understand competing solutions and market trends

People management / Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing commercialization team by fostering a collaborative culture, setting clear goals, and driving accountability to achieve business objectives


About You

Proven experience in product marketing, marketing services or marketing communications with a demonstrated ability to engage internal and external customers through value-driven storytelling and drive business objectives

Strong business acumen and a track record of delivering innovative, customer-centric narrative

Ability to grasp technical concepts and translate them into practical application

Excellent writing skills and development of engaging decks and presentations that are clear, attractive and effective – along with tailored to the appropriate audience

Exceptional networking, communication, and storytelling skills, with a strong focus on results and urgency

Consultative mindset with the ability to craft compelling, customer-tailored narratives

Deep understanding of consumer, industry, and market trends

Creative problem solver with the ability to generate “out of the box” solutions and build alignment across diverse teams

Growth-oriented and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments

Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred
