Title and Summary

Director, Product Development Overview: Mastercard's new Services organization integrates our innovative product offerings across Customer Acquisition & Engagement, Security Solutions, Business & Market Insights, and Open Banking. This structure lays the foundation to maximize our capabilities and accelerate growth.

The Security Solutions Organization (SSO) aims to drive synergies across the broader Services Organization. Many of our solutions are complementary, and pairing them unlocks revenue opportunities while delivering more value to our customers.

As a Director in the Solutions Architecture team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our Services business. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate strategic alignment, explore synergies, and assess new products for potential overlaps with existing solutions to enhance our offerings and meet customer needs. This role reports to the Vice President of Connected Product Development for Solutions Architecture.

Responsibilities:

· Partner with Global Products and Regional Security Solution teams to identify and implement synergy opportunities that drive growth and optimize Security Solutions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, commercialization, business integration, engineering, and other Service units) to understand business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with partnership strategies and business objectives to support the architecture team in building effective solutions.

· Assist in organizing and prioritizing requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with strategic objectives.

· Support the solutions architects by providing clear, concise information and assisting in solution design discussions.

· Help track and communicate progress of requirement-gathering tasks across teams.

· Support the creation and maintenance of documentation, reports, and presentations pertaining to project requirements and architectural frameworks.

· Partner with enabling functions such as commercialization, marketing, pricing, finance, and insights to support successful regional execution and scaling of synergy initiatives.

· Facilitate ongoing communication, build awareness, and gather feedback on SSO Services synergies from stakeholders to ensure continued alignment and engagement.

· Monitor industry trends to stay ahead of market shifts and emerging opportunities to inform and shape the future roadmap.

Qualifications:

· Consulting background with a proven track record in strategy and complex program delivery.

· Understanding of the Payment industry, Cyber and Fraud trends, and market insights.

· Working knowledge of product lifecycle, product optimization, and performance management, as well as a good understanding of relevant technology platforms.

· Strong communication and organizational skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.

· Basic understanding of solution architecture or technical concepts is a plus.

· Ability to see the big picture as well as perform deep dives into the subject matter.

· Strong interpersonal skills - the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly across functions.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Pay Ranges

Remote - Missouri: $148,000 - $237,000 USD
