Title and Summary
Director, Product Management Mastercard Loyalty Solutions is the world's largest loyalty company, a service division within Mastercard that provides reward programs, offers, and benefits to both financial institutions and merchants. We manage over 600 million accounts on our loyalty systems, serving over 2,000 global clients. We offer an end-to-end outsourced service and are at the forefront of next-generation loyalty solutions, including Merchant Offers, Pay with Points, Promotions, and more. Our global team consists of 900 loyalty specialists working across the world, leading the integration of loyalty with payments.Offers is focused on driving revenue through our proprietary platform and merchant network. We are on a transformational journey, with ambitious goals and currently seeking a Director of Merchant Offers, Global Merchant Sourcing to join our product organization and be accountable for managing a Global merchant sourcing team and aggregator partners. The leader will focus on ensuring ongoing delivery of relevant content and global coverage for existing customers and prospects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product management and delivering on sales objectives.
Responsibilities
• Develop, lead and execute global merchant strategy which includes identifying the right partnerships, targets, offer types, categories, segmentation and other campaign levers to support offer program performance and growth in markets we serve globally.
• Manage a Global (multi-region, multi-country) team of sourcing leads, to deliver significant merchant content to those respective markets.
• Responsible for talent planning to ensure sufficient global coverage to deliver content to existing and new business opportunities.
• Provides thought leadership and strategic direction on merchant sales opportunities needed to onboard new merchant partnerships.
• Leverage merchant offers analytics to obtain data needed to find growth and optimization opportunities.
• Develop, monitor and report on program KPIs as well as track aggregator performance to ensure quality and budget efficiency to draw necessary recommendations as needed.
• Maintain and grow revenue targets and volume of offers through direct and aggregator relationships.
• Manage budgets for efficient use of merchant funding, resources and other relevant P&L expenses.
• Ensure we are developing solutions and services that are needed to manage ongoing merchant demands, trends and grow share of wallet in advertising spend.
• Leads and develops global best practices, enhances processes between regional Merchant Teams, Global Operations, and Product teams.
• Maintain and deliver training materials that articulate clear success expectations and operational requirements needed that feed the offers platform.
• Develop Global materials to be shared with regions, to lead Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly analytics, ad hoc Case studies to drive product value via analytics
Experience
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum 8+ years of experience in product management, ad sales, ad-tech and salesforce
• Previous merchant loyalty marketing or related digital marketing experience
• Experience in Ad Tech / Marketing advertising ecosystems, platforms and/or technology
• Demonstrated ability to act with a persistent and relentless sense of urgency
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to many audiences, from technical resources to client marketing leads
