Title and Summary
Director, Product Management As part of the Network Products team, this role will take place in the creation of comprehensive designs, specifications and product blueprints of current and future Mastercard Access solutions. Responsible for evaluation and understanding of the future or existing Mastercard network access products and driving the execution of multi-rail strategy and innovation.Overview:
• As part of the Network Products team, this role will take place in the creation of comprehensive designs, specifications and product blueprints of current and future Mastercard Access solutions. Responsible for evaluation and understanding of the future or existing Mastercard network access products and driving the execution of multi-rail strategy and innovation.
Responsible for:
• Translate business demands to product capabilities for Mastercard Access solution including APIs and Mastercard Edge design and roadmap.
• Understand the business processes, align business vision and needs to technology solutions.
• Lead an innovative team to manage the existing business and develop new products and services.
• Create and manage a common product vision and roadmap.
• Ensure and promote converge solutions to maximize business value and common technology foundation.
• Partner with various groups within Mastercard including product development, architects, engineering teams, and enterprise architecture on key technical decisions and solution design.
• Define business and technical requirements and manages the relationships of technical resources and the engineering teams to maintain and build out platforms.
Skills & experience
• People leadership experience is highly preferred with a minimum of 2 years or more;
• Product development/management experience preferred;
• Payment industry and Mastercard core payments experience required;
• SDLC and software architecture experience preferred;
• MBA preferred;
• Good understanding of cloud native design, API management framework, API design, and event framework;
• Good knowledge of common open source middleware and software;
• Good knowledge of network engineering and infrastructure;
• Experience in product go-to-market, cross-functional team;
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
