Title and Summary

Director, Product Management and Innovation Overview:

The role will be driving the consumer product innovation and execution in EEMEA region, as well as managing segment - CVP independent product features / add-ons.
The role will work closely with global product teams, customer value centers, customers (banks, fintech's, enablers) and potential business partners to identify opportunities and needs in key EEMEA markets and translate these into specific Mastercard products & solutions to grow the customer footprint and Mastercard's revenues, while meeting strategic product objectives.

Scope of Work:

• Development of product innovation strategy and roadmap, focusing on key EEMEA priorities and market feedback,
• Trends assessment and innovation scouting for key EEMEA markets:
a. Collaboration with CSCs and account managers to understand customer needs and opportunities in key markets,
b. Continuous benchmarking of local and global trends,
c. Review of key ecosystem players for partnerships and execution of opportunities,
d. Leveraging Start Path partners.
• Defining and leading regional strategic initiatives side from concept development to implementation and sales support:
a. Coordinating legal scans and market research,
b. Business case development,
c. Supporting TECH solutioning,
d. Providing inputs for recommended UI/UX,
e. Defining product economics,
f. Securing internal stakeholder buy-in and approvals for product launch,
g. Creating supporting sales materials,
h. Post launch performance tracking.
• Regional management and execution of global innovation projects, including product localization where needed,
• Commercial pipeline management and sales support to CSCs for newly developed products,
• Enhancement and management of segment/CVP independent “product features / add-ons”:
a. Digital First,
b. Flexible product constructs.
• Organizing and running trainings for the sales teams and webinars for customers.

Required Experience:

We are looking for people who are passionate about the above stated scope of work and has:
• Understanding of key EEMEA market dynamics in payments and regulatory landscape,
• Proven experience in launching and scaling new products,
• Knowledge on industry standards and existing core & digital Mastercard products,
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, project management and stakeholder management skills,
• Ability to handle multiple partners and projects from initiation to completion,
• Interest in working in a fast pace and evolving environment.

Education / Experience:
• Bachelor's or master's degree,
• Experience in payments or product development preferred.

Language:
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic and/or French is a plus).
