Title and Summary

Director, Product Management, Merchant Cloud and Gateway Solutions Overview

The Acceptance & Merchant Solutions team is Mastercard's integrated business unit focused on enabling secure, seamless, and scalable payment experiences worldwide. Our Merchant Solutions deliver modular, multi-rail services that simplify complexity for merchants, optimize payment performance, and power commerce growth through advanced connectivity, fraud protection, and loyalty-driving capabilities.

The Latin America and Caribbean team are hiring a Director, Product Management who will be responsible for Mastercard's Enterprise Gateway solution. This person will drive the ongoing development and deployment of Enterprise Gateway in Latin America and the Caribbean. This position will be responsible for building product requirements to meet market and regulatory needs. The ideal candidate is motivated, passionate about technology and product management, able to work across multi-functional teams and with third-party partners to help drive a product to deployment and scale in the region.

This role is pivotal in driving adoption and revenue growth in this highly visible position.

Role:
• Lead all facets of delivering a scalable product to the Latin America and Caribbean region
• Build and review product requirements for each market and develop business cases for specific requests
• Develop and own a product strategy and go to market plans for the region
• Identify product positioning and pricing for the region
• Establish product commercialization and launch plans
• Provide overall market feedback into product improvement and strategic planning discussions with global
• Display product ownership by driving analysis of product usage and performance reporting
• Drive internal awareness and excitement in Mastercard's Merchant Cloud and Gateway solution
• Leads cross-functional collaboration to align product strategies to business unit and corporate Mastercard strategy
• Train and engage cross-functional teams such as Product Delivery, Account Teams and Customer Solution Centres to identify and qualify product optimization opportunities to increase usage with existing customers
• Conduct and link market research and qualitative/quantitative analysis to influence strategy and product prioritization
• Promote Mastercard Merchant Cloud Solutions and Enterprise Gateway products by seeking out and driving participation at thought leadership and market presence opportunities

All About You:
• Experience in product management with a proven track record of market and financial analysis, business case development, project management skills to execute successful product strategies
• Experience commercializing solutions in the gateway or payments space
• Managing and delivering product roadmaps that meet market needs
• Understands and can explain the commercial rationale, business requirements and associated use cases for products
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence a cross-functional team
• Strong customer advocacy and proven relationship building skills.
• Can communicate with executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity
• Strong analytical, logical thinking and communication skills
• Experience in working simultaneously on multiple deliverables and prioritizing appropriately in order to manage organizational and customer deadlines.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Availability to be in the office 3x per week.
