Title and Summary
Director, Product Management - Network Strategy OverviewThe Director, Network Strategy, will join a high impact global team driving strategy, roadmap and execution of the future of Mastercard's global core payments network. The network is the company's core strategic asset, directly driving over 60% of Mastercard's revenue and providing the platform for our other key services.
The role
Strategy, Governance and Planning
• Oversee Strategy Execution and Reporting across the team's strategic pillars, collaborating closely with the EVP and senior leadership to drive Mastercard's global network growth
• Lead annual Business Planning, including the definition of team objectives and executive-level KPIs/targets, and support the development, tracking, and analysis of growth metrics through regular reporting and presentations
• Support Finance narratives and presentations (e.g., yearly investment request, revenue sprints), demonstrating strategic impact and value creation
• Drive Product Strategy, together with business partners, to identify, present and act upon appropriate network solutions based on understanding of market opportunities
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, create materials such as value propositions and strategy assessments, and develop compelling narratives and visuals to support recommendations and drive alignment among teams and leadership
• Assist in the development of quarterly BLRs and QBRs in coordination across NP
Switching Growth
• Support Switching Growth KPIs definition, tracking and analysis, by setting team ambition and developing ad-hoc / monthly / quarterly reports explaining growth factors to present those plans and insights to leadership
• Drive network growth by defining domestic switching strategies and leading the switching growth Center of Excellence (CoE), collaborating across regions and stakeholders to maximize impact

• Superior problem-solving skills; experience in strategy / consulting strongly preferred
• Superior analytical and data management skills
• Strong planning and project management skills, together with organization and task management experience
• Strong visual presentation skills, including data visualization and the ability to produce clear, compelling slides
• Strong written and oral communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter, adaptable, and quick learner with ability to work independently and to thrive in fast-paced environments
• Strong global collaborator, ability to work cross-functionally, and across cultures and time zones
• Ability to interact with varying levels of leadership across the organization and with internal and external clients; ability to lead and influence at all levels
• Willingness to dive deep and learn about our technology, system structure, and rules
