Prepaid Management Services is Mastercard's in house program manager, supporting distributors with all aspects of end to end card sales and issuance.
Traditionally focused on the travel sector, this business unit is driving forward Prepaid throughout the world with innovative and leading solutions that we integrate with Global brands. The expansion into other prepaid sectors such as gift, everyday, corporate, loyalty and digital offerings offers a diverse platform and product suite for expansion and growth

The role:

The role holder will manage the Card Operations team within MPMS, being responsible for the design, production, replenishment and ongoing support of all card and packaging items.

The work will include pre-sales support for the Global and Regional product teams about the capabilities of vendors, relationship management of the MPMS' card and collateral vendors and ongoing identification and implementation of process improvements within the card supply chain to ensure a commercially and operationally optimised solution.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the Product Operations team including the card and collateral design and production, card supply chain management, stock management and reporting functions

• Responsible for all 3rd party vendor relationships required to fulfil the Card Operations supply chain

• Identify and implement process improvements across the Card Operations supply chain

• Be the SME for card operations processes and the systems required to support those. Ensure they are fit for purpose by providing clear business requirements for any improvements or developments
• Drive the strategy for card operations to support MPMS' growth across geographies, customers and products.

Key skills:

• Strong background in operations
• Account or relationship management experience would be beneficial
• Knowledge of the payments industry, with particular specialism in prepaid desired
