Title and Summary

Director, Product Operations The Director, Product Operations will join a team driving product strategy, roadmaps, and execution of the future of Mastercard's global core payments network. The payments network is Mastercard's core strategic asset, directly driving over $8 billion in revenue and providing the platform for other key products and services.

This role will provide oversight of multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring roadmap execution and alignment with business priorities. The Director will establish governance frameworks, streamline communications, and leverage modern tools—including Copilot—to enhance reporting and executive engagement. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish governance frameworks for program execution and ongoing monitoring. -
Develop and execute program strategies for high-impact organizational priorities.
- Oversee multiple workstreams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of strategic objectives.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex projects in a matrixed environment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Operations, Technology, Compliance) to define roadmaps and deliverables.
- Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes impacting strategic initiatives.
- Define KPIs and success metrics for programs and report progress to senior leadership.
- Facilitate Executive Steering Committees and working groups to drive decision-making and alignment.
- Prepare and deliver executive communications, including bi-weekly status updates, dashboards, and strategic presentations.
- Ensure risk management and compliance throughout the program lifecycle.

About You
- Extensive experience in program management, strategic planning, and enterprise initiatives.
- Familiarity with payment systems, financial services, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with enterprise architecture and integration for complex systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate strategy into execution.
- Self-starter with ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments; comfortable with ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written.
- Skilled in creating clear documentation and compelling visual presentations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Collaborative leader with ability to build relationships and influence across all levels.
