Director - Services Business Development - GC Acquiring/PSP, retail and commerce Role Overview
The Director, Security Solutions will be responsible for driving the growth of Mastercard's Services business across Greater China, based in Hong Kong. This role will lead acquisition efforts targeting Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and merchants with advanced security needs, support Network Sales opportunities through strong local content leadership and stakeholder engagement, and drive the development of local external partnerships and reseller networks in close collaboration with the CSP team.

The role requires strong market expertise, commercial leadership, and the ability to translate global security strategies into locally relevant, scalable execution.

Key Responsibilities
-Drive growth of Security Solutions across Greater China, anchored from Hong Kong
-Lead acquisition strategy for PSP segments and merchants with complex security and risk management needs
Partner with Sales teams to identify, develop, and close strategic opportunities involving security, fraud, identity, and authentication solutions
-Support Network Sales–led opportunities across the division by providing locally relevant content, value propositions, and executive‑level narratives
-Act as the local subject‑matter expert for Security Solutions, engaging closely with internal stakeholders and senior client decision‑makers
-Drive the development of local external partnerships and reseller networks, working closely with the CSP team to align channel strategy and execution
-Translate global Security Solutions strategy into effective local go‑to‑market plans
-Represent Greater China market insights in regional and global forums

All About You
-Director‑level experience in payments, fintech, cybersecurity, fraud, identity, or risk management solutions
-Strong understanding of PSPs, merchant acquiring, and payment ecosystems in Greater China
-Proven track record of driving growth through direct sales, partnerships, or ecosystem‑led models
-Experience supporting complex, multi‑stakeholder sales opportunities in a matrixed organization
-Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders
-Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on in market execution
