Overview
Mastercard Security Solutions organisation (SSO) in Eastern Europe Middle East & Africa (EEMEA) leverages world-class security products and services to lead multi-product commercialization initiatives. It is part of Mastercard Services organisation.
As part of this organization the Director, Strategy & Operations, Security Solutions Organisation is responsible for:
• Define and drive execution of 5-year strategy for Security Solutions Organisation in EEMEA
• Create deep-dive analysis for strategic growth areas including pricing and operational excellence
• Ideate and create in collaboration with the Services and SSO organisation key strategic initiatives covering network level initiatives, synergies within Services, regional acquisitions and investments, new distribution networks, new revenue streams, customer success etc.
• Lead the sales enablement effort across all SSO product verticals.
• Create execution plans for key strategic initiatives.
• Help shape internal and external communication for EEMEA SSO including voice of customer, market research etc.
• Create compelling communication narratives for key updates to EEMEA leadership- region and Services
• Help to create compelling solution sets comprising of SSO solutions targeted for the different customer segments.
• Support Product vertical leads to develop and implement go-to-market strategies across target C&I solution bundles in partnership with other Mastercard consumer facing product teams
• Support in engagement with the various divisional expert teams and sales teams to build out a detailed go-to market strategy for the EEMEA region.
This role will work closely with internal Product vertical leads in SSO – both within EEMEA and globally. This role will interact with other parts of Services and the region including but not limited to other Product verticals, Country, Sales and Customer Success.
This role will report to the SVP of SSO EEMEA
All About You:
• This position requires experience at firms like Bain, BCG, McKinsey or the Big 5. Experience in the strategy teams in Financial Institutions would also be valued. Ideally experience will be in strategy development space and also some exposure to operational improvement projects
• Person ideally has payment experience either via projects, experience at Issuer, Acquirer or Merchants
• Very Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with Project Management and planning skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to identify key issues, structure analysis and synthesize large amounts of data, and provide recommendations effectively
• Highly collaborative and self-driven individual who is a fast learner and has experience in interim product management roles
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility; team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible
