Executive Vice President, Debit, Prepaid, and Sustainability Products EVP, Debit, Prepaid, and Sustainability Products

Overview:

The EVP, Debit Sustainability, and Prepaid Products, will have overall end-to-end responsibility for product development, product management, platform management and product sales support to drive success for the product portfolio. A key member of the Consumer Products & Processing Leadership Team, the incumbent will work very closely with global and regional management, business development and customer delivery and be responsible for driving the continued growth of the product line strategies and for providing leadership throughout Mastercard in understanding Debit, Sustainability, and Prepaid market opportunities, consumer, merchant, issuer and acquirer value drivers, third party participants and capabilities, applicable regulation, competitive activities and forces, and any opportunities and threats to Mastercard. This role will be responsible for looking horizontally across existing Mastercard assets aligning solutions across channels into a consistent and superior value proposition for consumers and merchants to package global/multi-region solutions which address Mastercard and its customers' needs. The position plays a critical role in driving differentiation within the issuer, merchant, and acceptance community resulting in better relationships, preference and revenue.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading Mastercard's global Debit, Sustainability, and Prepaid Products organization, including the development of new products and payment propositions.

Leads teams responsible for:

- Product development, product management, product operations and commercialization efforts

- End-to-end management of debit e-commerce enablement initiative partnering with regional product and country management teams

- Create global and inform regional Strategic Plans and Product Strategies working with the relevant leads and deliver on agreed metrics in terms of share, net revenue and GDV; partner closely with regional leads to continually enhance and refine.

- Serve as a strategic business partner to key geographic and functional business unit heads to execute the go-to-market, platform, and services strategy to align with other business unit strategies and metrics

- Oversee the product development pipeline to ensure delivery of key priorities in alignment with global strategies and regional priorities.

- Partner closely with respective co-founders and engineering/TECH colleagues to ensure high quality development and deployment of the platform, products and services

- Commercialize new solutions, in partnership with Product Development, Product Marketing and in-market Sales teams

- Accountable for leading and motivating a large and diverse team, creating a high performing culture with a strong emphasis on professional development

All About You:

• Experience in the Payments, Ecommerce, Financial Services and/or Technology sectors
• Proven track record as a group lead or overall lead for a global business line or product, with P&L responsibility, in a complex business-to-business technology and/or payment business
• Credible thought leader in the industry with a trusted reputation and influential network
•Strength in connecting people and ideas; ability to operate in a matrix environment and establish effective working relationships across the business and geographies
• Experience managing global teams, with demonstrated understanding of regional differences – international overseas work experience a plus
• Vision and passion for our business, with high energy, intelligence and self-driven motivation
• Ability to hit the ground running, adapt quickly and take an action-oriented approach to execution that delivers measurable results
• Strong, efficient communication and networking skills across relevant stakeholder groups with the ability to listen and influence to effectively advance people and business opportunities

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
