Title and Summary
Manager, Accounting Overview:• Are you motivated to work with a team that provides global services?

• Do you enjoy optimizing, simplifying, standardizing, and transforming existing processes?
If so, we have an exciting, Manager-level opportunity in our Consolidations Accounting team that will be focused on project deliverables. This position will initially be an individual contributor role, but potentially could grow into a people management role in the future.
Role:
• Lead the functional teams in Accounting Services towards reaching project goals
• Work with project managers, as needed, to align on viable timelines that meet project requirements
• Monitor progress and milestones to ensure projects are staying on track
• Partner with Accounting Services team, Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Financial Systems, and other stakeholders for implementation of project requirements
• Record highly technical Consolidations accounting transactions to meet project needs
• Support hedging strategy changes, as needed
• Leading efforts on future, unforeseen project initiatives
• As time permits, this role may also support the following:
o Assist in leading global accounting processes such as consolidations, investment and treasury, hedging, entity structure changes, capital injections and dividends, mergers and acquisitions, restatements, etc.
o Assist with review of footnotes for the quarterly/annual 10-Q / 10-K filings
o Assist in review of general ledger account reconciliations
All About You:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA, preferred
• MBA, preferred
• Track record of delivering excellent results on special projects
• Experience in consolidations process at large, publicly traded US company
• Excellent technical knowledge of US GAAP and current accounting concepts
• Experience with external reporting at large, publicly traded US company
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvement activities
• Mastery and comfort navigating financial systems and subledgers
• Progressive accounting experience
• Previous work in a large global environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and business acumen
