Title and Summary

Manager, Franchise Innovation & Onboarding (M&A) Overview:

The Franchise Innovation team is passionate about doing well by doing good. Our mission is to enhance and evolve our existing Franchise offerings - and to create the new Franchise frameworks, business models and technology for our growing business in both new payments and data.

Role:

This role is part of a specialized team focusing on Merger and Acquisitions. Role involves analyzing potential acquisitions for strategic fitment into our franchise frameworks. Providing impact analysis/insights to our Corp Development and Product and Engineering teams on potential ways to scale these investments using franchise enabled distribution. In addition, role will focus on integrating these acquisitions into our Core Franchise assets & capabilities such as onboarding, dispute management, customer engagement and performance and standards.

Role will help drive franchise-enabled acquisitions to scale, build interoperability, create compelling world class experiences for our acquired entities and their end customers. Role offers requires a blend of strategic and execution skills required to assess & integrate acquisitions into our franchise assets

Manage all aspects of Franchise integration with Terminal including Standards rollout, Onboarding and CEP integration. Coordinate with legal, MC Connect, MPI, data strategy, billing and GBSC teams to create a seamless Order to Cash (OTC) experience for existing and new customers. Work with legal and C&I teams to create new standard for threat intelligence based product requirements. Work with C&I to integrate new threat intelligence and brand protection data into various Franchise programs including BRAM, MATCH, ECP (Excessive Chargeback Program) etc. Manage the integration of Terminal threat intelligence in all franchise programs and standards reguired to scale the acquisition. Co-ordinate execution with Corp dev, C&I and Integration program team

Accountabilities:

Strategic tasks
• Create and draft impact assessment for a potential acquisition, working cross-functionally with Law, Product, Compliance, regional Franchise, and other teams to ensure progress and alignment
• Partner with Corporate development and Product & Engineering teams to execute the strategies that drive the growth of our minority investments, acquisitions and strategic partnerships
• Support development of Franchise led business cases/ideation for investment proposals to support our multi-rail and corporate strategy
• Work with Franchise vertical teams to develop and drive implementation of acquired assets to enable the onboarding of new customers, and develop the approach to customer disputes and customer performance programs for new acquisitions
• End to end integration management of acquired customers, entities into franchise systems coordinating impacts with upstream and downstream applications/teams such as Compliance, Data Strategy Management, shared services etc.
• Assist in with documenting business requirements to build out the internal Customer Data Management (CDM) system to support any unique identifiers required by M&As to support onboarding and billing
• Contribute to the development and expansion of our automation solution to support customer onboarding
• Develop and provide training to our shared services to support business-as-usual processes
• Ensure all M&A activity is reported and tracked in appropriate systems, manage pro-active communication with all impacted stakeholders

All About You:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Extensive knowledge of our payments business and demonstrated interest and Knowledge of integration of third party assets
• Excellent communication and writing skills, including the ability to explain complex information simply and clearly
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated cross functional/cross regional collaboration and teamwork
• Attention to detail, strong business acumen and solutions-orientation are critical, as is an ability to demonstrate thought leadership

Pay Range:

Purchase, NY $124,000-$199,000

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
