Title and Summary

Manager, Franchise Innovation (Platform Product Management) The Franchise model is the cornerstone of our success, fostering trust and confidence in our brand for nearly 60 years. The Role:

This role will be an important contributor with significant responsibilities supporting the Franchise platforms that monitor transaction and Mastercard network data to ensure accurate and clean data in accordance with Mastercard rules, specifications and product mandates. By enforcing rules and standards, we provide benefits for the entire ecosystem including higher authorization rates, increased fraud protection, greater transparency, and better product performance, which all leads to increased Franchise value for everyone.

This role offers the opportunity to proactively collaborate with Franchise stakeholders and builds and strengthen relationships with technology partners to implement enhancements and new functionality on the platform.

This position will:
• Contribute to defining the platform strategy for all of Franchise and build to that vision
• Coordinate and prioritize changes with development teams; maintain and refresh platform pipeline
for delivery of new functionality and enhancements
• Maintain end-to-end product ownership of Franchise platforms including program support, ideation and launch of new functionality and enhancements, performance measurement, and operational oversight

This is a high visibility role supporting the Franchise Innovation team in our ‘Ideate' team pillar and working closely with various teams within Franchise, Technology as well as other key stakeholders including Legal, Finance, Treasury and Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with Franchise product owner teams on new features, functionality and enhancements to both front-end UI and back-end integrations and functionalities including monitoring, reporting, dashboards, alerts, case management, workflow, and risk scoring
• Build and foster relationship with technology, including participation in daily calls to elaborate technical requirements with development teams based globally
• Coordinate announcements to customers and Standard Review Board proposals with
Franchise product owners
• Ability to influence and collaborate across a diverse group of internal stakeholders, effectively
manage multiple priorities, and demands, and possess a deep understanding of Franchise remit
• Present platform updates internally and externally via conferences and forums
• Identify, obtain, organize, and communicate additional data points to reflect the success and value- add of the platforms, features and functionality being built
• Proactively engage with Franchise product owners to identify critical platform requirements and KPIs
• Collaborate with Franchise Product owners to provide ongoing analysis of platform
performance to recommend enhancements and improvements to ensure platform effectiveness
• Based on data and metrics, develop a narrative to capture the value of the platform strategy demonstrating long term scalability and CX and NPS improvements
• Develop product documentation and collaterals to support Go-To-Market efforts
• Partner with Franchise Product owners , Mastercard CX and AI teams to develop wireframes and shape digital user journey(s)

All About You

• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills with an emphasis on impactful
simplicity, proven ability to take complex technical issues and simplify them for a business audience.
• Ability to adapt communication style to fit technical or business audience
• Product Development experience at Mastercard or other fintech companies.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to
manage multiple priorities and deliverables with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of card-based authorization, clearing and single-message networks, products, and
services with an understanding for how rules and performance programs function, project
management experience/knowledge
• Adaptive to change, helping lead team through process and organizational change
• Self-starter. Motivated by a sense of ownership, passion, and pride for quality
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as an integral part of the team
• Ability to quickly develop productive relationships and to communicate value in a way to motivate
behaviour change
