Overview
Mastercard is a leading provider of innovative API-based financial products, empowering businesses with seamless access to financial data and services. The Open Banking Product Delivery team is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Manager, Product Delivery with a strong technical background to join our team. As a part of this team, you will focus on ensuring the readiness of products and features prior to release, and that our client facing teams are ready to help our clients experience maximum value in their relationship with us.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Readiness
• Work with Product and Engineering with new releases of products and features to ensure their readiness before release.
• Establish and continually improve a standard checklist of items to be reviewed with each release.
• Be aware of the schedule of new releases that are coming.
• Proactively review with product managers their plans and readiness to ensure the success of their products/features.
2. Team Readiness:
• Schedule sessions with SE, TAM, Delivery Operations, and Support for the product team to present new products/features that will be released.
• Ensure follow-up items from the meetings are fulfilled.
• Create internal documentation and knowledge base articles for training sessions and materials to ensure the team has resources available to them.
3. Documentation Scoring
• Maintain and publish documentation scoring standards.
• Maintain current documentation scores across product areas.
• Work with SE and TAM teams as needed to review and score documentation.
• Work with product managers on their documentation, answer questions, provide guidance to help them
• Provide reporting on status to leadership as needed.
4. Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain collaborative working relationship with Product, Engineering, and client facing teams.
• Gather feedback and insights from client facing teams to understand gaps, questions, and needs to continuously improve our readiness.
5. Technical Expertise:
• Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of REST APIs, SQL querying, and the variety of internal tools used in the integration process.
• Test new products/features and get feedback from other SEs and TAMs to provide feedback on products/features and what is needed for delivery readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, collaborating with the development and support teams to deliver effective solutions.

All About You

Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a pre-sales or solution engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and experience in integrating them into various applications/ API-based solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Familiarity with the following tools: Postman, Monday.com, Confluence, JIRA, Webhook.site, RedHat 3Scale, Plantext.
• Familiarity with financial industry standards and protocols (e.g., OAuth, FDX, OpenID Connect, PCI-DSS).
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated on industry trends.
• Proficiency in SQL querying and database management.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and integration methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Additional Skills:
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with authentication and encryption protocols (e.g., OAuth, RSA).
• Understanding of encryption and data security principles, enterprise architecture, networking.
• Relevant IT industry certifications and/or training (e.g., CompTIA CySA+, Network+, ISC^2 SSCP). In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Salt Lake City, Utah: $103,000 - $165,000 USD
