Title and Summary

Manager, Product Development The Services team and solutions fuel growth for partners globally by providing cutting edge services in the areas of Customer Acquisition and Engagement, Security Solutions, Business and Market Insights, and Open Banking. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, our agile sales team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base including retailers, airlines, hotels, tourism agencies, public sector entities, restaurants, consumer goods and telecom companies.

The Cyber Security Services Program is embarking on an exciting new project, and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Manager of Product Development to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the development of a cutting-edge project from the ground up. As Manager, Product Development, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Product Manager to execute specific tasks that are critical to the success of the project. You will be responsible for ensuring that development teams deliver high-quality work that aligns with business requirements, removing blockers, and keeping all stakeholders informed on project progress. The Manager, Product Development plays a key role by advocating for the best outcome for program, product, and customers by balancing demand with resources to deliver the highest value to the organization within an achievable timeline. This person will be responsible for implementing the product roadmap by translating business requirements to engineering teams and managing the Epics throughout the software engineering lifecycle.

All About the Role:
• Collaborate with the Product Manager Lead to manage tasks, priorities, and deadlines
• Ensure development aligns with project goals and maintains a clear product backlog
• Monitor progress, identify blockers, and resolve them proactively
• Act as the main contact between business and development teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication
• Regularly report on status, timelines, and deliverables to stakeholders
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert and Product Knowledge Leader
• Evangelize product goals from the customer perspective with all stakeholders
• Ensure alignment with Program and Product Objectives
• Lead ideation sessions and coordinate high-level solutioning with Business Architecture and internal teams
• Manage Program and Intake for optimal resource allocation, timeline commitments, and team dependencies
• Break down business requirements into deliverable Epics with the Engineering Team
• Refine Epics, prioritize Features, and hand over Epics to the scrum team. Own the Delivery Roadmap and drive release planning. Ensure developed features meet requirements
• Provide transparency into delivery status, risks, and team engagement
• Follow Mastercard Standards and Platforms processes
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and Product Development activities as needed

All About You
• Cyber Security experience is a plus
• Strong communicator - both written and oral
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong Cross Collaboration and Stakeholder Management with an ability to acti as a stakeholder influencer
• A proactive mindset with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Expert knowledge in Software Engineering Lifecycle
• AHA experience preferable, but not required
• Ability to manage priorities and delegate tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• UI experience is a plus
