Title and Summary

Manager, Product Management The Services team and solutions fuel growth for partners globally by providing cutting edge services in the areas of Customer Acquisition and Engagement, Security Solutions, Business and Market Insights, and Open Banking. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, our agile sales team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base including retailers, airlines, hotels, tourism agencies, public sector entities, restaurants, consumer goods and telecom companies.

Overview:
The Product Management, Data Collection Program team is looking for a product leader to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role:
• Act as Product Manager to develop, manage, and execute the long-term and short-term product enhancement roadmap to unlock incremental value for Mastercard Services through direct and indirect downstream product revenue.
• Evolve the various products under the Data Collection Programs to advance how businesses all over the world derive the most value from new and existing data assets.
• Set direction for all products under the Data Collection Program with coordination, not isolation—considering how our data, technology, and products all work together to serve customer needs.
• Set prioritization based on Product roadmap and collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure the right outcomes are achieved.
• Act as an influential connector to ensure commercial and technological success of the products under our Data Collection Programs by working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Franchise, Technology teams, Data Strategy).
• Develop Product enhancements based on customer feedback, define roadmaps, build business cases, manage and influence key stakeholders, optimize programs and resources, own and manage related revenue/P&L.
• Partner with Director, Product Management, Data Collection Programs to define and execute on a robust product vision and roadmap for Data Collection Programs to unlock incremental value for Mastercard Services and our network participants (e.g. issuers, acquirers, merchants).
• Own and drive working backwards from the product vision, defining short- and long-term goals, and ensuring appropriate documentation to help inform the direction of success of the program.
• Drive product enhancement strategy with a technology strategy that supports rapid development of scaled enterprise software products.
• Drive tangible data-driven business outcomes, delivering against revenue objectives and closing data quality and coverage gaps.
• Define and organize the work across a complex matrixed environment, outlining key objectives and roles/responsibilities, defining business requirements, setting priorities, defining success KPIs and milestones, driving progress against timelines, and holding relevant teams accountable.
• Develop strong working relationships with a diverse group of internal stakeholders, navigating across cultures and geographies to gain support for program enhancements and to increase value of the programs.
• Identify issues, risks, and dependencies and develop mitigation plans.
• Create compelling communications for Senior and Executive Management to define the Data Collection Program roadmap and to showcase the value of the Data Collection Programs and ensure ongoing support for program enhancements and associated investments.

All About You:
• Domain knowledge of data-driven products is a must. Comfort interpreting data and using data to drive meaningful outcomes, particularly merchant data, is required.
• Proven ability to manage and successfully deliver projects in a matrix environment with multiple and competing priorities, structure and manage work streams, and set clear expectations and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy and with a strong attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.
• Analytical and strong problem-solving skills, using a fact-driven approach to program management, ability to interpret and synthesize data, pressure test and validate hypothesis, and challenge the status quo.
• Demonstrated experience building organizational relationships, partnering with and influencing executive leadership while commanding the respect of the individual product practitioners across the organization.
• Ability to understand the reasons behind architectural decisions and to use technical judgment to challenge and validate assumptions, enlisting engineering support to vet architecture as required.
• Proven track record in collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams; exceptional in facilitating challenging conversations and managing ambiguity.
• Experience in consulting, product management, product development, or project management preferred.
