Title and Summary

Manager, Product Management OVERVIEW
We're hiring a Manager, Product Management, to lead the commercialization and delivery of payment solutions within our Merchant Cloud portfolio. This role connects engineering capabilities with business strategy, supporting a major enterprise merchants and channel partners. You'll drive product roadmaps, oversee execution, and enable scalable solutions. The position offers cross-functional collaboration, executive visibility, and potential involvement in RFPs and new business initiatives.

Ideal candidate is someone who has both a strong level of technical knowledge, expertise in payment acceptance solutions and strong relationship management skills to manage customer strategy-setting to go-live, while growing our gateway business with the customer.

Key Responsibilities
Technical/Operational
• Develop a strong understanding of customer's infrastructure, operating model, and product strategy
• Communicate product vision and roadmap aligned with customer's needs and market trends.
• Provide proactive solutions, support RFP response development, and prioritize product initiatives that advance customer's objectives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide input into product roadmaps and solution design, incorporating voice of customer input.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to shape architecture and integration strategies.
• Manage product delivery, implementation, enhancements, pilots, and platform migrations for new and existing customers.
• Monitor product KPIs and use data insights to inform decisions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to operational playbooks.
Commercial
• Understand the digital payment & acceptance space, establish self as trusted SME and advise merchants of market trends to consider in joint product roadmap.
• Identify expansion or optimization opportunities for Merchant Cloud features/services and provide guidance on how to maximize value on an ongoing basis.
• Build and foster strategic working relationships at both an executive and below level.
• Advocate for the customer internally. Share Voice of Customer, feedback and insights with global products and other stakeholders for consideration into product roadmap or to improve processes.

Qualifications
Required
• 5+ years in product management, including 3+ in technical roles.
• Strong API knowledge and technical fluency.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Bachelor's degree required

Preferred
• Strong experience in a customer facing Product Management role.
• Background in merchant acceptance and digital commerce.
• Conceptual and solution- based thinking.
• Strong cross functional team and execution management skills.
• Ability to define solution designs that support scalable deployment models to enable new products with strategic customers.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, tokenization, and fraud tools.
• Experience managing platform products and developer tools.
