Position Overview
As part of the EEMEA's Business Excellence function, reporting to the VP of Strategy, Analytics, and M&A, the Manager, Strategy and Analytics plays a critical role in shaping and executing data-driven strategies to drive growth across product lines, markets, and customer segments. This role is responsible for identifying market trends, enhancing competitive positioning, and using analytics to drive continuous commercial performance improvement.

Role Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership & Execution: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategies across key EEMEA markets by leveraging data-driven insights to influence Mastercard's commercial agenda and regional growth targets.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop and enhance regional analytics dashboards and Business Intelligence tools, providing actionable data that enables senior leadership to make informed, performance-enhancing business decisions.
- Quantitative & Qualitative Insights: Synthesize data from multiple primary and secondary sources to deliver clear, strategic insights that inform product innovation, market entry strategies, and competitive positioning.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across business units to identify growth opportunities and drive key initiatives, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's overarching strategic objectives.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting & Analysis: Provide tailored analytics and reports to meet specific business needs, ensuring insights are delivered in an easily digestible and impactful format for senior decision-makers.
- Executive-Level Interaction: Regularly engage with senior leadership across EEMEA to present key strategic initiatives, market trends, and analytical insights that directly support Mastercard's business objectives.

Key Skills and Experience
- Strategic Consulting & Market Analysis: Proven experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm or corporate strategy/analytics function
- Slide Deck Creation & Storytelling: Expertise in creating high-impact slide decks that distill complex strategies and data insights into compelling narratives for executive audiences. Strong proficiency in developing slide decks that communicate strategic recommendations effectively.
- Advanced Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, including modeling and data manipulation. Experience with tools like Alteryx and Tableau is a strong advantage.
- Clear Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data-driven insights into strategic actions for senior stakeholders.
- Innovative Problem-Solving: A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities for growth and optimization in a fast-paced environment.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong track record of managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Business Acumen & Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build strong, cross-functional partnerships and align analytics with broader business goals.
- Agility & Execution: High sense of urgency and adaptability in navigating complex, fast-moving business environments, ensuring swift and effective decision-making.
