Title and Summary

Manager, Technology Account Management The Technology Account Management (TAM) role, focused on external partners, is aligned with the MasterCard account teams. TAM team members are responsible for all aspects of the technology and operational relationship with the customer and are responsible for the customer's overall operational relationship with MasterCard. This specific position will be responsible for the commercial relationship/portfolio of a large MasterCard customer in the Asia Pacific region. The candidate will serve as an internal liaison with the Global Product & Solution, Product Delivery, Solution Sales, Market Development and Operations & Technology (O&T) teams responsible for the commercial product. Ongoing responsibilities may include defining & initiating new system development needs, coordinating/assessing customer service, and ensuring flawless project execution by respective O&T functional areas.

• Ensures the end-to-end delivery of business initiatives for the market. Take ownership of the delivery of solutions after the sale has been completed by initiating and driving the implementation process with delivery units such as product, franchise and technology, to ensure internal and external satisfaction.

• Provides delivery solution consultancy and support pre-sales and business development for country and account managers to ensure that opportunities are assessed and feasible solutions provided.

• Provides enhanced Project or Program management for strategic and complex initiatives. Maintain a work plan identifying responsibilities, deliverables and processes that must be executed to achieve results. Document and steer specific milestones.

• Partners with IMK, Global Product & Services, O&T and USM to manage and/or facilitate the internal development and implementation of any new product and/or technology enhancement.

• Supports PIR process including project closing meeting with account teams and customer.

• Acts as escalation contact for all service level, operational issues related to commercial portfolios.

• Analyze & optimize customer operational performance when needed. Involve and liaise with the dedicated COS resources to ensure optimal operational support.

• Participates with Customer Delivery products experts to develop the packaging of professional services for commercial deployments across AP market.

• Participates in initiatives to improve MasterCard services and delivery processes.

• Identifies customer needs & arrange for training. Supports Academy in building content on commercial products & deployments which can be sold to customers.

• Oversee the end to end TMC Onboarding Process by partnering with MC Commercial and operations teams as well as improving enhanced data match rates.

Skill Set;

• Strong commercial skills in transforming opportunities into business solutions. At ease with analysis of business needs and developing a packaged solution that effectively integrates technical & business components.

• Business consulting and/or IT & integration experience preferred.

• Ability to sell customer delivery engagements towards customers (issuers & corporates).

• Solid commercial cards product expertise is required 

• Excellent customer-facing skills, including good communication & negotiation skills.

• Must demonstrate effective leadership and take ownership.

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.

• Good personal organization & priority management skills.

• Team player, but also able to work independently. 

• Cultural sensitivity; ability to fluently communicate in English is compulsory; knowledge of other AP languages is a strong asset.

• University education or equivalent work experience with emphasis on business, and information technology and/or payment or bank card /mobile industry experience.

• This function is based in Singapore but will require frequent travel (up to 20%) across the AP region. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. O'Fallon, Missouri: $118,000 - $190,000 USD Purchase, New York: $136,000 - $219,000 USD
