Managing Consultant, Services Business Development Overview
The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.

A fast growing area with the Services team relates to how we engage and serve our partners, both Issuers and Acquirers, with scalable solutions. As Mastercard offering is growing rapidly, so is the team required to meet the demand.

This role will allow significant interactions across different teams and wide exposure within Mastercard in CE region.

Role:
• You will be looking to market Services solutions at scale in the CE region exploring different go to market options (Bulletin publication, Funds, Pricing initiatives). The role covers all initiatives that are launched either via announcements (Network Services) funds usage or pricing.
In doing so, you will support the development of creative business solutions for Mastercard client base, across the Services business, including Insights, Analytics, Test & Learn, Loyalty, Managed services and consulting services
• Your key responsibilities will include:
- Generate and maintain Services revenue opportunities based on the Network Distribution
- Foster strong relationships with key Mastercard stakeholders that tie directly to ROI, and are built on a foundation of trust and value creation, This will include driving relations with the Digital team, Pricing team, SSO team, the Divisional Account and Leadership Teams, as well as internally within the Services teams (Delivery, Product management team) and be top of mind when new opportunities including service bundles can be developed
- Leverage effectively existing processes to accurately measure the business growth and understand how limit attrition and act on it (actions to include customer communication, webinars, training, etc.)
- Manage sales pipeline, advancing early stage opportunities to approvals and signature, with continued engagement post sales by developing a strong relationship with the delivery and product management teams
- Proactively identify risk and opportunity signals; develop comprehensive strategies to combat and/or limit erosion
- Report on revenue progression and be on top of the financial impact of all the existing and to be launched initiatives

All About You:
• Undergraduate or master's degree and intermediate work experience after completing your undergraduate degree
• Working experience with financial institutions, fintech's or digital players including payments
• Strategically focused and solution oriented with proven history of dedicated, high-energy, patient, and customer-centric behavior
• Deep understanding of channel and partner ecosystem, along with working knowledge of sales cycles and process
• Experience of business development in selling data / information analytics / technology / data driven insights / data as an ingredient / data sets
• Leverage and synthesize data to analyze business challenges and opportunities
• Embrace a high performance culture and embody a “can-do” attitude
• Balance working autonomously and seeking direction when required within a complex environment
• Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and executives; you are seen as a trusted and objective advisor
• Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen with the ability to simplify and distill complex business information in a consumable way
• Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills and an ability to establish credibility with executives in both potential digital clients and with Mastercard executives
• Experienced working in a matrix management environment
• Cross cultural exposure and experience
