ROLE
The Principal, Regulatory Relations Markets & Compliance Transformation help drive the strategy for the regulatory engagements or key initiatives. This role will lead the delivery of one or more strategic objectives from strategy definition to planning and through to execution success by (a) developing the strategy with corporate leaders and (b) leading a team of diverse Subject Matter Experts and Mastercard stakeholders. Furthermore, it is upon the Principal to ensure the use of technology-based systems and processes (e.g., automation and analytics) to ensure solutions deliver efficient, secure, and effective experiences. We are looking for someone to join our team to help us meet these compliance goals. This person will be a technically savvy person who likes to solve issues and drive outcomes.
ALL ABOUT YOU
• Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy
• Demonstrated experience breaking down problems, organizing work, planning sprints, and delivering technical programs in agile delivery models (scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Support risk policies and procedures to minimize exposure and drive proper controls
• Provide data analysis and strategy execution across risk areas, leveraging an understanding of risk and regulation
• Support cross-functional initiatives to deliver on risk goals, policies and procedures
• Support Market Leads with the implementation of standard engagement framework and documentation, including first line SA Standard Operating Procedures
• Develop and manage risk processes, including identifying and implementing best practices and ensuring all processes are documented, reviewed and updated regularly
• Research, learn and apply knowledge about new technologies and environments that impact internal controls
• Enjoys diving deep to understand of the platforms capabilities and underlying technologies.
• Proven track record of data driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams
• Can debate the delivery strategy with business teams, architects, engineers, and designers
• Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity
• Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization
• BS in engineering, computer science or related discipline.
