Our Team Within Mastercard

Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

Merchant Loyalty Program - SessionM offers a full suite of technology and services to deliver a customized end-to-end loyalty marketing solution that makes your customers happier and businesses more profitable. Our product team loves solving complex problems utilizing data and analytics, but we also obsess about customer experience.

Responsibilities:

* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
* Develop individual and team goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
* Manage resource allocation and staffing for QA initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
* Define, implement, and continually improve the overall QA strategy, methodologies, and processes to ensure effective test coverage across the organization's software products.
* Establish testing goals, timelines, and milestones to meet product release schedules while maintaining a focus on quality and automation.
* Oversee the development and execution of both manual and automated test plans to validate the software.
* Drive the development and implementation of automated test frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency, repeatability, and scalability.
* Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements, functional specifications, and integration points.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to identify testing requirements, plan test execution, and address any technical challenges.
* Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the QA team by staying current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
* Define and track key quality metrics to measure testing effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and ensure high-quality standards are met.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
* Proven experience with both manual and automated testing practices, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Cypress).
* Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and test automation integration.
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
* Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective testing solutions.
* Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS), version control systems (e.g., Git), and test management tools is preferred.
* Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
* Experience with Chaos testing is a plus
