Sales Analyst Intern, Summer 2026 - New York We are the global technology company behind the world's fastest payments processing network. As an intern, you will be challenged with completing projects that will enhance your skills as well as contribute to the department's goals and objectives.
Make an impact as a Sales Analyst Intern:
The intern will be in a fast-paced environment, helping shape Mastercard's ethos of “doing well by doing good.” The intern will conduct market research identification of potential partnerships, help with development of customer pitches, support partnerships with internal teams for strategic initiatives, develop pipelines, and support planning for customer meetings, visits, or conferences. The intern will have an opportunity to work cross functionally, to work closely with marketing, product development and services departments to align strategies and maximize sales opportunities.
Previous Projects of our Sales Analyst Interns:
Marie put together a document about our customers priorities, based on their earning reports and press releases. The document helped the Account Management team prioritize the customers need and offered them the appropriate product solutions.
Johnny completed an assessment of the US Fintech and Digital Merchant ecosystem to inform the Account Management team of high potential customers.
Sam helped the Business Development team research the Latin America/Caribbean region and helped them build a pipeline to organize sales efforts aimed at winning new opportunities and renewals.

Program Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or accelerated master's degree graduating Dec 2026 or beyond
Innovative thinking and thoughtful risk taking
Ability to partner across the organization
Outstanding record of academic achievement
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PPT)
High energy level; flexible, adaptive and strong collaborator
Must be able to work in a fast-paced evolving business as a self-starter, taking
initiative in leading their assigned project
Organized and structured to manage time independently
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects
Location:
The position will be based in either Purchase, NY or New York City, NY. We will do our best to align you with your preferred location, but we expect candidates to be flexible working in either office and following Mastercard's “return to office” strategy of working minimum 3 days/week in their assigned office location.

Compensation: $25- $32/ hour
