The Role
As part of the strategic accounts team, our role is to be bold and innovative partners to win our largest issuer by leveraging the best of our combined assets. We operate as one team as we develop and execute joint strategies driving innovative payment solutions for our banking clients that deliver a superior experience and meaningful value to our organizations.
The successful candidate for this position will be managing the Commercial payments relationship - across a range of regional markets across Asia Pacific - for one of Mastercard's key global accounts and one of the largest commercial card issuers in the Asia Pacific region.
The position requires a motivated, strategic, collaborative individual with excellent relationship & account management skills, with the ability of working across functional global and regional teams, to execute and deliver on our strategy.
The ideal candidate would focus on driving results, while managing high visibility projects and initiatives with sound data analytical, interpersonal communications and presentation skills. Applicants with a background in Payments (especially Commercial payments) are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
· Partner, lead and develop Mastercard's relationship with our Client for the Commercial Cards business across the Asia Pacific region.
· Work with Commercial Card businesses teams from our Clients, to co-create strategy and support execution with Mastercard assets and resources driving incremental value for our combined organizations.
· Serve as day-to-day contact or liaison with Client Commercial Card team
· Liaison and collaborate with key internal Mastercard linkages and stakeholders to support the account on product, sales, pricing solutioning, delivery etc.
· Develop and execute annual account plans, business, and market reviews at the regional and local market level.
· Conduct and facilitate country level business reviews, workshops, learning sessions, other partner engagements etc. to help drive our commercial card strategy.
· Introduce and activate new B2B deals/verticals to the bank partner by engaging and collaborating with Mastercard subject matter expert teams.
· Manage the Mastercard deal and contractual commitments.
· Successfully manage the customer's performance, ensuring that all targets and other performance metrics are met.
· Support the bank partner on day-to-day BAU requests and general operations.

· Proven track record and experience in account and relationship management skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
· Significant experience in Business Development/ Account/ Product management.
· Project management, analytical/problem solving and planning skills.
· Knowledgeable in both issuing and merchant payment systems.
· Broad market awareness, with the ability to think strategically, creatively and be able to work collaboratively.
· Excellent interpersonal relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
