Senior Specialist, Legal Services Overview

Mastercard has been rapidly expanding its wide range of payment solutions by increasing worldwide connectivity in the account-to-account space, enhancing compliance capabilities and offering more robust foreign exchange tools.
Mastercard is seeking an experienced regulatory compliance professional to join our Regulatory team to support the Mastercard Transaction Servies (MTS) regulatory compliance program. This position will report to the Director, MTS Regulatory Compliance and will be based in the UK.
The ideal candidate is a compliance champion with strong project management skills, experience supporting compliance programs, and a background in payments and financial technology compliance.

Role

The Regulatory Compliance Senior Specialist will play a key role in supporting the strategic development and implementation of the MTS Global Regulatory Compliance Program.

In this role you will:
• Support the Regulatory Compliance Director in cascading the MTS Regulatory Compliance strategy.
• Oversee MTS Regulatory Compliance's use of the global regulatory compliance tool (GRC/Archer), maintain relevant procedures/guidelines and conduct awareness training.
• Own and optimize Monday.com workflows, including dashboards and automation.
• Coordinate among MTS Regulatory Compliance to conduct the annual Regulatory Compliance Risk Assessment.
• Manage collection and reporting of MTS Regulatory Compliance metrics and key performance indicator reporting.
• Support the broader MTS Global Regulatory Compliance team on other key projects/initiatives/tasks including but not limited to license renewals, regulator requests and examination management.
• Support ad hoc tasks like data cleanup, presentation development, and documentation.

All About You
• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven success in navigating a multi-national organization and operating effectively within a diverse multicultural organization.
• Experience executing regulatory compliance programs, including design, implementation, and oversight of control.
• Experience engaging with and preparing material for regulators. Experience with financial services license applications is a plus.
• Detail oriented, organized, self-starter/motivated to work independently and as an effective team member.
• Must demonstrate a proactive, time sensitive, results driven approach in carrying out all duties, obligations and responsibilities.
• Ability to juggle substantial competing demands and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Monday.com or similar project management tools
