Senor Specialist, Product Development Overview

The Fraud & Decisioning Solutions Product team within Mastercard's Security Solutions Organization (SSO) is seeking a Senior Specialist, Product Development to support the development of customer-facing applications (Rule Manager, Case Manager, and Insights) that help Issuers combat fraud and make smarter decisions. Rule Manager empowers issuers to create, manage, and optimize fraud detection rules tailored to their risk strategies. Case Manager provides a centralized interface for investigating suspicious transactions, enabling efficient case tracking and resolution. And Insights delivers actionable analytics and visualizations that help issuers understand trends, performance, and operational effectiveness.

In this role, you will contribute to product development initiatives by translating customer needs into actionable requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the integration of emerging technologies like Generative AI and Agentic AI to enhance decisioning experiences

Role

In this position, you will:

• Drive the execution of the product development roadmap for Rule Manager, Case Manager, and Insights.
• Apply your fraud operations knowledge to ensure solutions address real-world challenges faced by issuers.
• Translate business and customer needs into actionable product development requirements and priorities.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure product initiatives align with Mastercard's broader Fraud & Decisioning Solutions strategy and support issuer needs globally.
• Use data and insights to validate concepts, measure success, and continuously refine outcomes.
• Contribute thought leadership by identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and enhanced customer value, including the integration of emerging AI capabilities.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
